レズリーサイエンスセンター Earth Day Festival @ Leslie Science Center

Earth Dayにちなんで、レズリーサイエンスセンターにてEarth Day Festivalがあったので行って来ました。
I took Alan and Leina for Earth Day Festival at Leslie Science Center.

敷地内にある畑。

There are some raised beds for growing vegetables.

ネイチャーウォークにも参加して、途中で木の下にいる虫たちにこんにちわ。
We joined nature walk and found bugs under the logs.



ふくろうや、へびもいました。アランとママはへびもさわってきたよ。
There are some owles. Alan touched the snake too.



でも一番好きだったのは、この砂利で遊んだこと。洋服も手も真っ黒になるまで遊びました。
泥んこまみれで育ってくれるのが一番です。
What he loved was to play with gravel.

最近まねごとが大好きなアラン。この砂利はふくろうさんのご飯だといって持っていきたいんだとか。
どうしてこれを食べないの？どうして？を連発。ママは最近アランのどうして？なんで？に辟易気味。
He is into pretend play lately. He insisted that the owl he saw before would eat these gravel. He was curious why the owls do not eat them. I have been overwhelmed with these "why? why?" questions lately. The fun part of three years old, I guess.
